Our programs - camps, festivals events, and year-round gatherings welcome teens from all backgrounds, making Jewish life engaging, relevant, and meaningful.

CTeen – The Chabad Glen Eira GEMS Teen Branch – is dedicated to inspiring Jewish teens with pride, love, and joy in their Judaism.
Our mission is to create a space where young people feel a strong sense of connection and belonging, while exploring their Jewish identity in ways that are meaningful, engaging, and relevant to their lives.
We aim to empower teens to embrace their heritage with confidence, curiosity, and excitement.
Through a wide range of programs, including camps, festival celebrations, social events, and year-round gatherings, CTeen offers opportunities for teens to connect with their peers, build lasting friendships, and experience Jewish life in fun and dynamic ways.
Our programs are designed to meet teens wherever they are on their journey, welcoming those from all backgrounds and schools—both Jewish and non-Jewish.
At CTeen, we believe that Jewish life should be inspiring, accessible, and full of joy. By combining meaningful events with hands-on experiences, social connection, camps and celebration, we help teens develop a deep love for their Judaism and a strong sense of pride in their identity.

Summer Camp
CTeen Summer Camp is a fun, unforgettable experience where teens explore their Jewish identity, embark on thrilling trips and leave with lasting friendships and Jewish pride.
Winter Camp
Similar to Summer Camp, with the added excitement of a thrilling day skiing at Mt Hotham.
Festival events
CTeen festival gatherings bring teens together to celebrate Jewish festivals and traditions with heaps of meaningful fun.
Shabbat - Boys
Shabbat mornings, teen boys gather for Kiddush and Torah discussion at Chabad Glen Eira from 11.15 - 12.15pm, exploring meaningful, relevant life lessons from the weekly portion in an engaging, discussion-based, and social setting.
Shabbat - Girls
"Shabbat with Shevy" brings teen girls together monthly at Chabad Glen Eira for a social, discussion-based Jewish program, enjoying meaningful conversations and a delicious spread of food.
Year round gatherings
Year-round programs give teens opportunities to volunteer at community gatherings or Hebrew Gems, participate in meaningful experiences like Challah Baking for a cause, and enjoy social, engaging events with peers.

Cteen - Winter Camp 2026
Join teens for the upcoming CTeen Winter Camp, an unforgettable experience where they explore their Jewish identity, forge lasting friendships, and deepen their pride in Judaism. Campers will enjoy a range of engaging activities, culminating in the thrilling highlight: an exhilarating skiing trip at Mt Hotham. This is a unique opportunity to combine adventure, connection, and meaningful Jewish inspiration.

We are an accredited Safeguarding Children organisation. Our programs, policies, and staff are fully trained to ensure every child in our care receives the highest standard of safety and attention.
